GLASS BOTTOM BOAT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Both the Operator and any Agent (including their respective employees, agents, officers and directors) exclude, to the fullest extent possible under law, all and any liability for any loss, damage or injury (whether direct or indirect or consequential, however arising) suffered by the Guest or any person associated with the Guest in relation to the booked activity.
All activities have elements of risk and all guests undertaking any Activity do so voluntarily and at their own risk. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, all warranties, representations and implied terms are also excluded.
The Operator reserves all rights to cancel any Activity at its discretion for (but not limited to) any of the following reasons: a) waterway, road or weather conditions; b) lack of numbers participating in the Activity; c) unsuitability of Guest(s) due to reasons such as age, ill health, poor fitness, intoxication or any other reasons rendering a Guest unsuitable or unfit to participate in the Activity; d) any other circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of the Operator.
All Guests agree to adhere to any instructions in relation to the Activity from the Operator at all times.
The operator is not obliged to refund or provide remedy for missed tours due to late arrival. Although all endeavours will be made to fit you in on the next available activity on the day, there is no guarantee that this will be possible.
These terms are subject to rights and remedies you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 2003.

All prices are in NZ Dollars and include GST.
Credit Card details will be taken at the time of booking.
Payments are processed when the booking is made

You are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled Glass Bottom Boat booking to check-in with the beach team and receive your boat ticket.
The tour starts at the designated time. We will not hold the boat for late arrivals.
We do not provide refunds if you arrive late and miss the tour

If we cancel any activity for any reason we will attempt to notify you via text message or email on the morning of the scheduled Activity and ask you to advise what you wish to do with your booking. You may receive a gift voucher to the value of your booking to allow you to rebook at a time convenient to you, or you may request a full refund.
Refunds will be processed within 5 business days.
We do not provide full or partial refunds for snorkel gear or kayaks returned early or unused.

IF YOU CANCEL:
To cancel and receive a refund for your pre-booked tour or activity, you must contact us 24 hours prior to your booking.
We do not provide refunds for same-day cancellations.

IF WE CANCEL:
CANCELLATION BY THE GLASS BOTTOM BOAT
While we always endeavour to avoid cancellations and changes, we must reserve the right to do so.However, we promise we will only cancel your confirmed booking where we are forced to do so as a result of circumstances outside our control, like sea or weather conditions.
If your booking is cancelled by the Goat Island NZ team, you will be notified as early as possible via text message on the cell phone number provided in your booking. You can reschedule your booking for another day, or receive a full refund.

If you have a complaint while undertaking our activities, please make a representative of Glass Bottom Boat Ltd aware at the time.
You are welcome to email us with full details of your complaint. Please do this in a timely manner so that it can be investigated promptly.

Glass Bottom Boat LTD has reserved the right to photograph and film any event for media publication.
Glass Bottom Boat LTD may vary these terms and conditions at any time.
Any variations become effective on posting.
By making a purchase through this site after the terms and conditions have been varied, you agree to be bound by the variation.

- Payments collected through FareHarbor are processed by Stripe, a PCI Level 1-certified and TLS 1.2 compliant provider backed by both Visa and American Express.
- FareHarbor is PCI certified as well, meaning we are compliant with the PCI Data Security Standards endorsed by Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, and JCB. You can view FareHarbor’s most recent PCI compliance certificate and AOC and SAQ certificates here.
- No sensitive cardholder data is stored in FareHarbor.
- Payments through Stripe are tokenized: the cardholders’ information is replaced with a series of randomly-generated numbers (a “token”) which can then be passed through FareHarbor without the actual details being exposed.

The price advertised may not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate fluctuations, or commission/service charges levied by third parties for booking online.
This means that because we are based in New Zealand, we will convert your purchase to New Zealand dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed.

SNORKEL & KAYAK HIRE
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
To hire any product offered by Glass Bottom Boat Ltd constitutes a contractual arrangement between you (the customer) and Glass Bottom Boat Ltd.
This represents your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms and Conditions prior to hire.
Payment needs to be made when we have confirmed availability in one of the following ways:
By paying online through our booking facility (you will receive a receipt by email)
By visiting the Glass Bottom Boat Ltd team on the beach and making a payment via cash, EFTPOS or credit card.
All equipment must be returned in its present condition or you will be required to reimburse GBB at retail replacement cost (Mask $40, Snorkel $30, Fins $50, Wetsuit $120).
All hired gear must be returned by the stated time, or by 5 pm if an ‘all day hire’.
No refunds are given for unused gear.
You must understand all instructions given to you, including boundaries, and be confident in your swimming/snorkeling ability.
You must not sit on the rocks in the hired wetsuit.
You must respect and observe all Marine Reserve regulations.
A Drivers Licence, Credit Card, or Photo ID must be left for security and will be returned upon return of the hired equipment.
You agree to the charges being the cost of items and authorise GBB to deduct from the stored credit card the funds required to repair or replace an item you damage or lose.
