CORPORATE ACTIVITIES: TEAM BUILDING WORKSHOPS
Bring your colleagues out of the office and onto to the beach for a team building day at Goat Island NZ!
This workshop is designed to promote and develop communication, problem-solving and
leadership skills through a fun and competitive raft-building exercise.
During the one hour and 30 minute workshop, teams are provided basic material
(wood, barrels and rope) to create a raft that’s as sea-worthy as possible.
Once constructed, team members will swim, paddle or row their raft into the water and around
a designated buoy before returning to shore and disassembling the pieces.
After the activity concludes, there is an opportunity to discuss how each team responded to the activity with their strengths
and weaknesses, ability to solve problems, choose and follow leadership and communicate.
This exercise is suitable for workplace and school groups, as well as other organisations, and can accommodate 4 to 40 people per workshop
CAN I DO IT ALL TOGETHER?
Yes! Many groups select multiple activities to round out their day at the Reserve.
Please contact us to enquire about availability or tailoring a package to suit your group’s specific needs.
“Returned to Leigh again this year and what a great experience.
The crew from the Glass Bottom Boat made this an effortless and enjoyable trip.
Thanks team – your professionalism and willingness to fit in with our program is second to none.
Looking forward to catching up next year.”
