Glass Bottom Boat Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
To purchase any travel services offered by Glass Bottom Boat Tours constitutes a contractual arrangement between you (the traveler) and Glass Bottom Boat Tours and represents your acceptance of Terms and Conditions set out herein.

Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms and Conditions prior to booking.

All prices are in NZ Dollars and include GST.

Credit Card details will be taken at the time of booking.

Payments are processed when the booking is made.

You are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled Glass Bottom Boat booking to check-in with the beach team and receive your boat ticket.

The tour starts at the designated time. We will not hold the boat for late arrivals.

We do not provide refunds if you arrive late and miss the tour

If a Glass Bottom Boat Tour, Kayak or Snorkel Hire is cancelled by the Goat Island NZ team due to weather or sea conditions, pre-booked passengers will be refunded for the full amount of their booking. Refunds are made through our online booking system and take up to five business days to process. Funds will be deposited to the credit card used to make your initial booking.

If you are late and miss your tour, you will not be refunded.

We do not provide full or partial refunds for snorkel gear or kayaks returned early or unused.

IF YOU CANCEL:

To cancel and receive a refund for your pre-booked tour or activity, you must contact us 24 hours prior to your booking.

We do not provide refunds for same-day cancellations.

IF WE CANCEL:

CANCELLATION BY THE GLASS BOTTOM BOAT

While we always endeavour to avoid cancellations and changes, we must reserve the right to do so.

However, we promise we will only cancel your confirmed booking where we are forced to do so as a result of circumstances outside our control, like sea or weather conditions.

If your booking is cancelled by the Goat Island NZ team, you will be notified as early as possible via text message on the cell phone number provided in your booking. You can reschedule your booking for another day, or receive a full refund.

Occasionally, sea and weather conditions can deteriorate throughout the day and the Glass Bottom Boat may change its route and operate outside Goat Island Marine Reserve. If this occurs, pre-booked guests will be notified of the new tour route, and given the option taking the new tour or cancelling their booking (for a full refund).

Please note: Tours outside of Goat Island Marine Reserve are often scenic boat cruises, as over fishing as stripped the surrounding reefs of its marine life.

Any abnormal incidents including injuries, service problems, cancellations of a service or dissatisfaction must be reported to Glass Bottom Boat LTD to allow us an opportunity to rectify the situation or provide assistance.

If you have a complaint while on the tour, you must report it at the time to a representative of Goat Island NZ team.

If you remain dissatisfied, you must send us full details of your complaint in writing within 10 days of your return from the tour.

We regret we cannot accept liability in relation to any other complaint or claim which is not notified entirely in accordance with this clause

Glass Bottom Boat LTD has reserved the right to photograph and film any event for media publication.

Glass Bottom Boat LTD may vary these terms and conditions at any time.

Any variations become effective on posting.

By making a purchase through this site after the terms and conditions have been varied, you agree to be bound by the variation.
